Aceanic Size:90 x 60 cm Yet as we look closer

Yet as we look closer the natural details reveal it is actually a photograph

This was the first photograph I took and realised I could frame natural landscapes to emulate abstract paintings

textures and layers take form and dissolve while toying with our imagination

evoking the feeling perhaps of a sun-drenched desert

It seems the Aboriginal people of Australia are not just the custodians of the land

Aceanic Size:90 x 60 cm Yet as we look closerAn unmanipulated photograph of the muddy banks of Lake Weering in Victoria, only 1: 40 mins west of Melbourne. Seen from above, the rich pink colours of the lake illuminate our imagination, transforming this natural setting into what may be an otherworldly landscape.
