Made England, 19th century. 8 x 8 inches square. Beautifully painted pair of cherubs on a hilly outcrop covered with grasses, flank a basket of flowers. One cherub holds out a small nest of eggs to the other. Ribbons fly behind and around the chubby little fellows. Great detail and very fine artistry.
