There is no denying this is a rhyolite as I have personally done much work with this stone and as a fair warning it will turn your oil/water bright red

pink and mauve with dark mahogany dendrites that create fantastic picture scenes

Aside from its obvious beauty Apache Rhyolite is also quite rare

It is very much worth the mess as finished pieces are unlike any other material in the world
