Lord effects are already really good on their own, but giving first strike to pretty much every creature you control (if youre playing a typal deck) means your board immediately becomes a much bigger threat

I dont know that lands-matter strategies really get there in cEDH, but if were talking high Bracket 3 or Bracket 4 lands decks, World Shaper has some great tools
I love that valuable and powerful cards are getting reprinted, but Im not at all excited to see cards like [casthaven]Sword of Fire and Ice[/casthaven] at my next PPTQ
(Tales of Middle-earth was legal in the Modern format, but not Standard.) The Final Fantasy set is a big deal for Magic because it brings Universes Beyond into Standard, helping to usher in Spider-Man and Avatar: The Last Airbender sets later this year that will also be Standard-legal
