What's the big deal

At worst, this is a 4/4 that enters and draws you a card

It really doesnt take long to build up a formidable force in early turns, letting you get a head start while your opponents are scrambling to find blockers

If you can quickly turn on that corrupted ability for all three opponents, youll be casting all sorts of stolen cards while keeping your hand full

Phyrexian Altar is also powerful because its a free sacrifice outlet that can be activated at instant speed as many times as you want
