The rares and uncommons are okay

Bartz Klauser (Winota, Joiner of Forces) Magic has a very small number of commanders I dont think you can build fairly without resorting to playing Draft chaff, and Winota, Joiner of Forces is near the top of the list

Burnt Offering + Culling the Weak Burnt Offering and the mono-colored variant Culling the Weak provide huge bursts of mana in exchange for one measly creature, setting up incredibly explosive turns that either shove you far ahead or simply end the game

All of these cards are considered part of the Standard format and are legal for play in events that take place using the Standard format
