The Pandorica can be used to untap another nonland permanent, and then phases it out of the game, preventing it from being affected in any way, shape, or form until it phases back in
It is still a great card that can protect itself using the Reconfigure ability and attaching itself to another creature
Youll always draw plenty of cards, and this is never irrelevant since its a 1-mana play that you expect to draw you at least one card and often more later in the game
