What I do to prepare a tournament is play every good deck and then bring the best deck to the tournament unless I find a strong reason to play a different archetype, and I rarely find reasons that are strong enough
Much as you want as much of the "free" stuff as you can get you rarely want the dedicated options

BPhillipYork: This doesn't really seem to work for itself that well, it gives out rad counters but the player who you hand them to is likely to run out of them in a turn or two, and it doesn't have a continuing source of rad counters, so it's a 4/4 with ward 2 that hands out 4 rad counters but no way to add more, so unless you're planning to flicker this or reanimate it repeatedly it seems dangerous
It also helps that Iwamoto05s art used for the card encapsulates Giovannis character as one of the franchises primary villains and Mewtwos status as one of its most powerful Pokemons out there
