ral cards mtg Card Game Magic The Gathering Guilds of Ravnica Planeswalker Deck Red/Blue Factory Sealed 2018 : Toys & Games Any number of target players each discard a card RAISED FOIL Ral, Crackling Wit

The reason you might do this is simply that you get a bit more bang for your buck in terms of your spell becoming purely removal rather than a modal removal/reach card

At about $9, its a pretty nice beater

Target creature gains double strike until end of turn

Erayo was $5

While this is a great card for defeating any draw-based strategy, don't be surprised when everyone at the table decides to target you after you play it

While Children of Korlis are obviously way better versus burn, creature decks will be able to build a critical mass of creatures where they can take you out in a single attack which doesn't allow for Children of Korlis to heal you before you die, Spore Frog does however allow you to repeatedly fog out your opponent with Tortured Existence
