While I cant believe this still costs more than the entire preconstructed deck it came out of, the salt is warranted here

Theres a lot of sacrificing and burning going on, but Streets of New Capenna and Warhammer 40K gave us demon commanders that splash into other colors and do other things, and Final Fantasy brought quite a handful of demons too

The first one released was Shivan Dragon at MagicCon Philadelphia, the second one was Giant Growth at MagicCon Minneapolis, the third was Lord of the Pit at MagicCon Barcelona, the fourth one was Merfolk of the Pearl Trident at Gen Con, and the fifth one was Swords to Plowshares at MagicCon Vegas

The stack is first in, last out meaning that when multiple effects are cards are on the stack, the most recent effects and cards resolve first

Not only can this be a backbreaking anthem on offense, but it'll be clutch on defense since it gives you flying blockers through the opponent(s) turn

And yet I can already feel myself coming around thanks to the clever ways Wizards is trying to imbue the set with an identity drawn from multiple sources
