So as far as strategy goes I would recommend definitely stacking up energy on Slaking before you play it since you can't afford to wait around to do damage since attacks will be increased by 50 when you do attack, I would definitely try to find a way where you could use Best Dash and then somehow retreat Slaking the next turn for free so you could attack again, but you may be able to last quite a long time if you get Slaking out in play as soon as possible so you can knock out almost every Pokemon in one turn and then hope your opponent has a weak Pokemon the next turn so that it won't be able to do more than 60 damage total, that way with a potion or two you can last at least 3 turns and knock out 3 Pokemon
