On its own, this ability is already quite helpful, but when combined with another Pokemon that can capitalize on those damage counters, it forms a deadly duo

It draws you cards if you simply remove a supply counter from it and pay two mana

It is a sign of great mechanics and the cards put enchantments, the graveyard and the ability to safely tap into a different light
