Acer sieboldianum aka kawa hime Needs protection from hot afternoonAcer sieboldianum is a beautiful maple with bright palmatum like greens native to the mountains of Japan. It forms a small tree to 25 in the wild, but a smaller sized tree is expected in cultivation. It makes a very hardy, trouble free maple for mixed landscapes. Fall color is outstanding with brilliant oranges and reds. Sun part shade.
