Tom Parkinson directs and Mike Raven stars as a sinister stranger resurrected by a drop of blood falling on his tomb during an engagement pact
The film poster features great full colour paintings of the tigers and elephants for a film set in India and the fine detail and title typography is very precise
Chantrell's signature is printed at the bottom right
The film poster displays well despite this
Magritte would have liked it - great film
Devil on Horseback Miles O'Keeffe Tom Parkinson directs and MikeThe British Lion logo is proudly displayed at the lower left of this film poster printed in England in 1954. Wonderful stone litho printing shows off the wide range of colours for what was of course a film made in black and white. The young jockey played by Jeremy Spenser achieves many winners but can be seen here been admonished by fellow jockeys because of his cruelty to the horses hence the title "Devil on Horseback". Excellent full colour artwork
