The artist's oenochoos is inspired by the shape of an ancient Greek wine jug. The piece is made by a combination of wheel throwing and hand building using black clay. The oenochoos' surface is decorated with a carved patter and inlaid with a homemade light blue crater glaze. The piece is fired to 1240C. 8" (h)
