There are decorative screw heads cast at the end of each arm of the swan necked pair
The heel bands are much finer and thinner than those seen on later spurs (please see the image that compares them to a ictorian spur by Maxwell)There are hooks or spikes at the end of each arm which wrap around the heel of the boot
This delicate lady's riding whip is made of golden brown twisted baleen or whalebone
but n their current condition
