This Style B British Quad film poster has pinholes in the corners and a one inch closed tear at the bottom centre border which we have repaired with restoration tape to the reverse

This poster has come from the Regal Cinema

The film poster dates from the year 2000 when the original 1952 print was improved upon with a sparkling new technicolor print by the BFI

The young jockey played by Jeremy Spenser achieves many winners but can be seen here been admonished by fellow jockeys because of his cruelty to the horses hence the title "Devil on Horseback"
