WINTERS BIRCH TREE COMMON LOON (GAVIA IMMER) This January winter morning sunrise

This January winter morning sunrise brought some incredible lighting of cool and soft looking colors around these elderberry bushes along the South Fork Kishwaukee River in Northern Illinois

I began photographing the wildflowers that consisted of false sunflowers

I couldn't pass photographing this beautiful scene in front of me

Overnight we had 2-3 inches of snow and the forecast for this morning was to be sunny with a few clouds

This was the first time seeing and photographing these beautiful and colorful water birds
