The flexibility of being able to choose a value for X is great because we might have an early-game case of wanting (or needing) to cast it for X of one or two, or we can wait until late-game and sweep a much bigger battlefield
At the beginning of your upkeep, put target creature card from a graveyard onto the battlefield under your control
Double Strike reduces the need for much buffing, as any creature with 11 or more power will hit for the required lethal 21 commander damage if they're not blocked

This is meant to represent Prosper's connection to strange, otherworldly planes and triggers off of plenty of red impulsive draw effects
