There are six rare and six mythics total with the Borderless Field Notes art treatment, and almost all of these will see some Constructed play, at least in the casual realm
Its a nice defense against mill, but very soft against graveyard exile effects
If you're willing to do the work there's something to this card, but I've been disappointed the few times I've cast it thus far
Mental Note is still narrower than things like Serum Visions but it is more powerful in the right kinds of deck and not that much less effective in the wrong kinds of deck
So many artifacts hit the board, such as mana producers (Sol Ring or Signets), land fetchers (Expedition Map and Armillary Sphere), utility artifacts (Nihil Spellbomb and Dispeller's Capsule), artifact creatures (Solemn Simulacrum and Steel Hellkite), broken artifacts (Mind's Eye and Eldrazi Monument) , and Equipment (Swords of X and Y and Lightning Greaves)
