It's a good target for flicker decks, brilliant with ninjutsu - and while it's not worth playing in every Dimir deck, this artifact creature is wonderfully efficient

This Izzet commander is a 2/7 for six, a weird statline, which essentially turns your cantrips into the ultimate cascade spell
And for the rest of them, playing a land (even if it's tapped) might keep you alive
Szarel, the legendary creature and Jund commander, allows players to play lands from their graveyard while converting sacrificed permanents into +1/+1 counters based on their power
That said, three mana for one and a sacrifice isn't anything to scoff at
