Since he makes you three red mana when he attacks, you can put that right into his second ability to exile the top card of your library to play on your turn
Dusk rids of all creatures beyond 3 power and then Dawn returns all the creatures from your graveyard to hand with 2 or less power so you have access to your resources after the board wipe

Urza, Lord High Artificer The next is the designed to break Modern dork that costs four, has a smaller 1/4 body and then ETBs with a win con in size of your artifacts in artifact token form with the ability to ramp by tapping your artifacts for Blue mana and then that mana can be spend on anything, not just artifacts and you can spend five mana to cast free stuff, nasty little kill, free stuff, ramping powerhouse which people don't fill around nicely and I hate to see abused
It's not an instant staple and shouldn't make much of an impact today, but the original mana dork is a good addition to the Metagame and could find more space as the format develops
