sad mtg cards Magic The Gathering - Drown in Sorrow (65/165) Masochistic fans select the saddest

This Grixis Commander leans heavily into stealing opponents' cards via the main ability, which exiles the top card of everyone else's library when Nathan Drake attacks, although you may only cast one of the stolen cards

Mind controls are permanent or persist as long as the effect remains in play

Doubling Season is a great example of this

While forcing your opponent to discard a card at random is almost always an advantage, there are other less expensive cards that can do this, and requiring your opponent to have the trigger of a damaged character first means this part of the ability does not make up for the rest of the card

The key wording on this card is prevent all damage that would be dealt, and thats what elevates it even higher

Professional dealers are often much faster at this because they have the right expertise and tools for the job
