While strategy, skill, and luck are all important in winning matches in TCG Pocket, they wont get you very far if youre running a substandard deck
This probably wouldnt matter to most, but it certainly matters to a collector trying to collect a complete set of all 350/350 cards from 8th Edition, for example
Mime's Invisible Wall Poke-Power made it a genuine bench protector that saw competitive play, which gives it crossover appeal for both players and collectors
The mana reduction here doesn't solve the clunkyness of this style of card
But aside from somewhat limited events, there is a cap on how much fun you can have here (at least for me, anyway)
You can own a PSA 10 Japanese Base Set Charizard for a fraction of what the English version costs, and it's the same artwork, the same era, arguably better print quality
