The initial combo was to play Dark Depths on Turn 1, play Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth into Vampire Hexmage on Turn 2, and then simply use Vampire Hexmage to removal all of the counters off of your Dark Depths at the end of your opponent's turn, get a 20/20 Marit Lage, and kill your opponent on Turn 3, as long as they didn't have a Path to Exile
With 13 toughness, Tree of Redemption certainly blocks well
A major factor in the deckbuilding process is trying to cut down on variance between games
And is pretty much the equivalent to Shaddoll Dragon in terms of how useful it is
completely, it seems to make more sense to just remove the scenes depicting fights entirely
