(9/19/2025) The amount of life you lose is determined by the mana value of the card in your graveyard, not the creature once it's on the battlefield
One has a quadruple clause (nonlegendary, creature, converted mana cost X, graveyard), the other gives me an emblem (as if this thing that cant be interacted with is actually easier to understand than just saying For the rest of the game) I hope people remember this type of hit the next time people start talking about dumbing down the game
But a 6/6 with trample and haste for is still good and shouldnt be underestimated
Like most MDFC-style lands, this card would not be playable by itself, but when you add on the modality of also just being a super low investment land, it starts to look much more appealing
