This creature has the effect of allowing you to play two additional lands each turn, which can be silly and sometimes even ridiculously strong if you include the right land cards and draw power

At 8 mana and with such heavy black requirements he is rarely cast instead preferring to be cheated into play but with cards like Dark Ritual and Lake of the Dead and 8 mana card is at its second most realistic for being cast in black

Be warned, dont play it against Tron since they can just cast their spells by tapping a Forest

As long as Grand Abolisher is out, your turn is almost entirely your own your opponents can't cast spells or activate any artifact, creature or enchantment's abilities

With both First Strike and Deathtouch, not only is it a formidable attacker, it also carries a horrifying ability

However, I can chatter about them all I like here on A Reception Collection
