I was running out of new ideas in this space

Final Fantasy has easily been one of the most successful Universes Beyond Magic: The Gathering has ever released

This can make even a card like Heihei, Boat Snack a force to be reckoned with

The earlier counter-cards in MTG did have a lot of 'anti a specific colour' mentality in its design, after all

FFVIs Terra, Herald of Hope, for example, headlines the Mardu-colored Commander deck, reviving creatures from your graveyard and flying into combat after milling your deck - a not-so-subtle nod to her rebirth mechanics and leadership in the game

In addition to being able to recycle your hand for a new one, you get a full turn cycle to cast cards from your previous grip
