Measuring 18. 2 mm at its widest and 4. 75 at its thinnest, the focal point of this ring is the previously mentioned sardonyx intaglio. The carved stone creates a beautiful relief, with the gray blue top layer giving way to a nearly black under layer. We were unable to identify this particular crest, that depicts a shield and knight's helmet
