Vintage Manhattan Map north store Style #: PFQ-931This rare & unusual antique map, illustrates street names, buildings and the surround in intricate detail of New York from 1852. Each is individually hand embellished with oil paints, and rests on raw linen. The "piuma di ulivo" veneer, collected from olive trees in Greece is carefully applied by Florentine craftsman to each frame, and finished with soft beeswax.
