The utterly compelling 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon in this vintage and 1

violet and discreet earth nuances

with an opaque bluish/purple color to the rim

but with some Cabernet Franc (rarely seen in the Médoc these years) as well as Merlot and Petit Verdot

Reduction flattens the nose and I would strongly recommend decanting this for 30 minutes or so if you're tempted to try a bottle before the wine matures
