Lionel Osmin & Cie - Pied de Perdrix 2020 (750ml) Coteaux du Layon to mimic the days whenThis interesting red from Lionel Osmin is composed of Pied de Perdrix, or Partridge Foot, a relatively unknown cousin of the Malbec grape grown in Southwestern France near Cahors. Although the nose and palate are quite similar to a traditional French Malbec, the round, generous notes of ripe red fruit are complemented by hints of earth, mushroom and woodsmoke. Gentle tannins and balanced acidity merge with a touch of vanilla on the lengthy, fruit
