Piero Busso, Barbaresco Gallina, 2021 SO012226 Egly Ouriet reflecting Alessandria’s commitment to terroirGallina represents Busso's roundest, most approachable young Barbaresco: silky curves with rose kissed, ruddy fruit character. Sant'Agata marl soils in Neive create wines of remarkable elegance and early drinking appeal. The 2021 shows layers of complexity developing toward its current sweet spot: already drinking beautifully yet capable of significant aging. Busso's mastery turns this vineyard into wave after wave of complexity. Pre arrival inventory
