Description

with sweet melted tannins nicely integrated

I like the focused drive of the finish

This is better than it usually is and this is one of the wines in the Rousseau stable that has shown marked improvement over the last few vintages

In spite of this

with extraordinary concentration

La Tour Haut Brion - Graves 1947 (No Label) Volume:750ML with sweet melted tannins nicelyThe 1947 was magnificently rich, but the volatile acidity may put off purists. It possessed huge quantities of fruit, as well as a chewy, even viscous texture.
