Louis Boillot & Fils Gevrey Chambertin Les Evocelles 2019 Back Vintage * Allen Meadows - BurghoundA lovely cuve from this prime hillside lieu dit is the 2019 Gevrey Chambertin Les Evocelles. Wafting from the glass with notions of cassis, wild berries, forest floor, violets and dark chocolate, it's medium to full bodied, velvety and concentrated, with lively acids, melting tannins and a long, saline finish. This has turned out brilliantly. William Kelley Wine Advocate
