Our pine is kiln dried with a thickness of 3 4". Bed to frame mounting holes are offset and countersunk for a flush surface. It is our recommendation that pine should either be painted (like the original wood beds) or finished with a natural finish, rather than stained. Pine is planed, grade "C" and its tolerances allow: firm knots max 3 8", some checking (splits), planing flaws on
