Vintage Gibson Pickguard 17-inch guitar you name itFrom my guard collection is this original, authentic prewar Gibson tortoiseshell celluloid pickguard. These were used on L 2 and L 3, with a similar shape on the L 1 and L 4 Gibson archtop guitars in the 1920s and 1930s. This one is in great shape no deterioration at all, no specific damage to report, nearly straight, and has the patent number stamped into the material. Haven't seen another one of these pop up. Get that early Gibson back in shape!
