Jenny Saville: Ancestors Pilar Ordovas This example depicts the meetingThis poster featuring Fate I (2018) was produced in 2018, in conjunction with the exhibition Jenny Saville: Ancestors at Gagosian, West 21st Street, New York. In this oil painting Saville melds human flesh with sculptural archetype to produce an extraordinary collage style hybrid image. In picturing the body along with its art historical representation, Saville reflects on the intertwining of corporeal actuality and visual culture.
