I’m hearing these bowls at their best with this mallet

Far superior sound quality and feel than birch handles

this stick makes your job easier

It is nearly as bright as brass or aluminum but has the resilience and greater dynamic range of plastic

5” maple handle covered in single layer of fleece

Mike Tamburo Medium (MTM) I’m hearing these bowls atThe MT Medium is constructed of a weighted wooden ball on a slim tapered maple handle (11 16 diameter on the bottom, on top). Its wrapped in layers of thick felt and foam and soft sherpa. This mallet is fantastic for working close to the gong. Ideal for drone work and playing at faster tempos. Great for exploring different tonal clusters and layers, by using different levels of mallet force, tempo and location on the instrument. Mike T. Mike Tamburo
