Barcelona Pearmain Year:2 YR Round soft yellow fruit withA great, crisp, juicy, aromatic little eating and cooking apple. Thought to have been lost then luckily re discovered by the wonderful Marcher Apple Network in 2009. The tree, over one hundred years old, was found on a farm near Tewkesbury. The fruit is medium to small slightly oval, primrose yellow washed with red, deeper red in the sun. Suitable for eating and cooking, will keep for about three months, will keep on developing flavour in storage.
